Heather Johnson presents 5 Ways to Reduce Nursing Stress posted at Student Nurses’ Notes.

The strain of nursing school may end when you pass your certification, but the career itself holds many stressful moments. In order to keep your nursing career in perspective, use the following tips to relieve your stress.

Anyone can afford these medicines. The herbs here are used in home remedies and are not know for significant side effects.  But if you are under the care of a doctor or taking other medicines please review  any self help remedies with your physician prior to using them.

Here is a list of a few home remedies for common disorders like cough, cold, fever, dandruff and pains etc. used in a variety of cultures.  All the herbs mentioned can generally be grown in your garden.

Julena presents Cucumber - The Green Skin Care Magician posted at Organic Makeup and Skin Care, saying, “Tips and tricks for making cucumber your skin’s best friend.”

I saw a commercial today touting the latest “skin care” innovation with a cucumber “essence”. Got me thinking – if an essence of cucumber is supposed to be so powerful, why not go for the source? The best organic cucumber skin care product is readily available in your local organic produce aisle. Next time you’re shopping, just pick an extra one, and experiment.

It’s important to remember that your skin is a giant organ, and just like the heart or lungs, you need to take care of your skin to ensure it performs at it’s peak. The fifty tips below will help you improve your skin and keep it healthy no matter if you are fifteen or sixty-five.

Alfa King presents Five Rituals for a Healthier You posted at Alfa King Memories.

Have you heard of this: “I just met Mr. X; we had a good time together; he was OK; I can’t believe he’s passed away? Aren’t you joking?”
Yes, this is a common feature today. Many people suffer from health problems like high blood pressure, stress, cardiovascular disease and diabetes without knowing, until they find themselves in the doctor’s consultation room for an emergency.
Yet there are visible risk factors associated with these. Physical inactivity, bad eating, smoking and alcohol consumption habits, obesity, age, and family history are all factors that contribute to worsen your health, slowly but surely.

Roshan presents Indigestion posted at Nature Cure.

5 Natural cures of indigestion

Sara Ost presents 7 Natural Sleep Aids posted at Ecosalon.

Aside from shutting down that computer and giving yourself ample time to stretch and relax, there are plenty of natural sleep aids. It’s important not to become dependent on sleep aids, even natural ones, but to find the root cause for your sleeplessness.

Lavender Farms presents A Better, Healthier Home posted at For the Love of Lavender, saying, “Take charge of the health of your home. Make it an environment that is healthy to live in.”

I was just reading through the March issue of the Better Homes and Gardens magazine and loved the article titled “Be It Ever So Healthy…” on page 196. It gives some great tips on keeping a better, healthier house. Some of the things they suggest are super simple, and for me the simpler the better! I love the thought of having a toxic-free home, and there is no better way to start than with small, easy steps.
